Cthulhu Bay is an innovative investigative role-playing game that breathes new life into the classic Cthulhu Mythos created by H.P. Lovecraft. With a layout inspired by the old pulp horror magazines like Weird Tales and gameplay mechanics drawn from The Cthulhu Hack and Brindlewood Bay RPGs, Cthulhu Bay offers a fresh take on uncovering cosmic horrors.

This ‘zine-format game includes simple yet innovative rules that allow players to dive into its gripping investigations—known as Tales—and unravel the mysteries behind them. In Cthulhu Bay, there are no predetermined endings.

As players gather Clues throughout the game, they weave together their own interpretations of events, ultimately shaping a unique epilogue for each Tale. The game encourages creativity and offers endless possibilities in its storytelling structure.

The manual provides everything needed to start playing, including a detailed section on how to run a game session.

Additionally, Cthulhu Bay includes four ready-to-play Tales, taking players on a journey through time and space, from 1930s Greenland to a mysterious planet, from a 17th-century Karelian village to a medieval monastery shrouded in death and intrigue.
