- Junta ^ Q4 2024
Junta ^ Q4 2024
Product Code: PES51801USA
In the now legendary República de las Bananas, a corrupt military dictatorship rules whose members are only interested in money and power. In Junta , the classic board game, their means range from intrigue to revolution.
At the beginning, the president is "elected", who draws the (unknown) budget from the pile of money, then appoints his 6 cabinet members and gives them part of his budget. Naturally, some ministers are not happy with their income, and so there is plenty of intrigue and finally, logically, the junta is rehearsed and the president is overthrown! The president can keep all the money that he was able to transfer to a Swiss numbered account before his overthrow. Then a new president is elected, and the game begins again. The winner, of course, is the person who has accumulated the most money in his own Swiss bank account at the end of the game, as is tradition in military dictatorships!
