Things From the Flood (FR)
Product Code: ASYTFF01FR
It started on Christmas Day in 1994. Dark water suddenly rose from the land, invading our homes and lives. They say it came from the depths inside the Loop. Whatever it was the Flood changed everything. Nothing would ever be the same again.
Now, it’s time to return to the Loop and continue the story. In Things from the Flood you play Teens in the 1990s – a decade of change and disaster. You're still balancing day to day life with solving exciting mysteries with your friends. But this is a darker time, and the stakes are higher.
In this new decade, the world we know has changed. Technology has made fascinating leaps and bounds and allows us to find domestic robots in our homes, or to take a gravitrain to the office. Scientists have created machines with intelligence and have even managed to travel through time... It is in this universe that you will embody teenagers with normal lives, confronted with fantastic events.
Things from the Loop is a role-playing game inspired by hits like War of the Worlds, Gremlins, E.T., Super 8, or Stranger Things, movies and series in which teenagers are confronted with extraordinary events that only they seem to be able to solve.
It's the 90's and the Loop has been stopped, the experiments abandoned and the land bought by Krafta, a powerful corporation. Now no one knows what is going on in the bowels of the Loop, but observers have noticed trucks coming and going, despite the official shutdown of the center.
During the 1990s, an unprecedented disaster occurred in your city, turning the meadows and fields into dark, stinking swamps. Some believe that the water that flooded the land came from the Loop itself, from an experiment gone wrong, or from corrupted machines and computers that became dangerous. Since then, strange things have emerged from the dark waters, noises can be heard at night in the surrounding woods...
As a teenager, you go on with your life, going to school, living your first high school love and fighting boredom. But when you hear about unexplained disappearances and one of your classmates is found dead, you realize it's time to act.
One way or another, you must find out what else the Loop holds in its depths.
Things from the Flood is both a supplement to Tales from the Loop AND an independent game.
